The other famous street, Stockton Street, is less frequented by tourists and is binding, similar to markets and production and fish restaurants and shops in Hong Kong. This is the best place to go forauthentic cuisine. Another important point in Chinatown is Portsmouth Square, an open space, the place for the practice of Tai Chi and men playing Chinese chess supplies. San Francisco's Chinatown is much better that a visit to Manhattan. Probably the second largest Chinatown in New York in America outside of Asia. It dates back to 1858 with a businessman named Ken Ah Cantonese immigrants and started a cigar store on Park Row. In the past, many parts of Chinatown in New York are just some of the highest crime rates in areas of the city with a pair of Chinese gangs and the fear of creating in the area. This has kept at bay tourism as well.
